As an emerging sculptor with a background in youth art education, my work is often drawn into the peculiar and playful. The past two years have pushed all of my work into this niche, making my sculptures a representation of childish whimsy and joy in stark contrast to the terrors of the COVID-19 pandemic. This work focuses on transforming the mundane objects in our everyday lives, into brightly saturated depictions of humor and absurdity.
